Well this one is hard to rate because there were some parts that were just awesome. My complaint is that there are way too many characters in the book. I prefer one or two point of views only. Also I want to read scenes with the two top mc's not all the characters. I am loyal to my two top mc's. Well talk about slow burn... this sex and love of two men took way too long to get going, only 5 years book span and reading two books and finally somewhere on the 80 or 90% we get to it. I don't like waiting long for two people to begin a relationship. So I will never complain about instant love relationships in a story. I think the plot was odd for me because I hate to read about spaceships and different galaxies but I did finish it. I loved the characters even the secondary ones but they did take away from the focus on the two I wanted to read about. Would I recommend this book? No not unless you are patient and like many characters' points of views. I hate being torn away from the two main guys. [2]
Must read for fans of Xanthe's BDSM universe, which I emphatically am! You don't get goofier than this premise: basically the characters from NCIS fly on a spaceship to Stargate Atlantis--it sounds like something my eleven year old might think up. But once you're in the story you just go with it--disbelief suspension and all that. The resulting story might be described as sci-fi-soap opera-murder mystery-cum Noah's ark, (as in all the characters pair up).And then right in the middle comes this punishment scene! Wow--just, wow.
My Only Caveat: you might want to wait until you've lost your job, retired, gone on hiatus, or otherwise blocked out some free time before you start reading Xanthe, because she does not do short. But it's all free so at least it won't dig in to the old ramen budget.
Extra plus: contains some F/F action, featuring NCIs' supremely hot superspy, Ziva. Snap! [3]
Gibbs and Tony shouldn't be viewed as main characters in this book, but other doms or subs, who Xanthe illustrated with abundant details, have never been my concern. [4]
This is my 10th or more time reading this It absolutely mind blowing, awesome, absolutely the best cross over for so many reasons loveeeeee it [5]
