Hide Away is an infamous animated music video commissioned for allegedly around $47,000 by YouTuber verbalase. The video features Charlie Morningstar from Hazbin Hotel stalking and then sexually assaulting a self-insert verbalase to the song Hide Away by SYNAPSON.

the most puzzling thing about the $50,000 verbalase hazbin hotel animation is how fucking softcore it is. like if i was going to drop a rural townhouse worth of money on an animation of me fucking my cartoon crush we would be going at it onscreen like dogs. we dont even see charlie's tits.[1]

- HIDE AWAY (-$50K) || SVSSS ANIMATION MEME (BINGYUAN) by Yiling Gaytriach (2024) - in which Shen Yuan, the main character of Scum Villain's Self-Saving System, pays for a similar animation to be made of himself being chased by Luo Binghe (the main character of the in-universe novel he transmigrates into in canon). Shen Yuan is canonically wealthy in the 'real world' and has an obsession with Luo Binghe, so casting him in the role of verbalase makes a lot of sense in-universe. The fanvid essentially treats the original animation as the source for an animation meme.
