Help talk:Image templates

With regard to the image summary template you say "The template can be added when you first upload the image — just copy and paste the template into the "summary" box on the upload form and fill it in — or at a later date by editing the image page." It's probably worth adding that the summary box has a character limit so when you add the template and all the information when you first upload the image, it might get cut off in the middle. I made some preliminary additions to the help page and sent an email asking about the technical issues. I could have sworn I'd seen someone copy & paste the template into the summary box and get results--it could just be a problem with uploading a new version??--æþel 23:40, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
