Hellghoul Week, or Hellbrand and Ghouladriel Week, is a Halloween-themed fanweek, prompt based challenge dedicated to Sauron/Galadriel, or "Hellbrand" and "Ghouladriel" from The Rings of Power and The Lord of the Rings.
About
Celebrating the Dark Lord, the Lady of Light, and every incarnation in between, Hellghoul week is set during the week leading into Halloween. Prompts are spooky themed and fanworks are encouraged to be dark, autumnal and fanfiction focused. It ends every year on October 31st. Each year, a word limit is set for the AO3 collection; however, works exceeding the limit are welcome and will be shared on social media.
To celebrate & get you excited for Hellghoul Week, share your favorite spooky Haladriel stories with us! All things creepy, unsettling, & strange welcome!
The prompts are a mix of spooky and generally autumnal (sorry, southern hemisphere folks!). Fics should be about Sauron and/or Galadriel with all ships (or no ship!) welcome. Human!Halbrand can play, too. We expect all participants to be respectful of one another and adhere to the ship and let ship philosophy.
