Harry/Cho is a het pairing in the Harry Potter fandom involving Harry Potter and Cho Chang. The two characters had a short-term canonical relationship, but broke up.
Canon
Harry had a longtime crush on Cho beginning in his third year. He asked her to the Yule Ball in book four, but she was already going with Cedric Diggory. This was a source of jealousy for Harry. Cedric died at the end of book four and in book five, Cho and Harry bonded over their shared grief; however, Cho's unstable emotional state and Harry's lack of communication ended their relationship after only one official date.
Fandom
Fannish response to Cho as a character and her relationship with Harry in OotP was mainly negative, and Cho received much criticism for being "overly emotional" and a bad fit for Harry overall.[1] However, some fans defended her and pointed out that Harry hadn't treated her particularly well during their relationship, either.[2]
Cho/Harry is very uncommon as the sole focus of a work and is usually used as a minor or past relationship tag for Harry. Threesome or poly works with Cedric Diggory are fairly common.
