Both "DurantShipping" and "SteelSkullShipping" were coined around the same time. Durant's been used since at least 14 December 2016[Notes 1], with SteelSkull being coined sometime between the beginning of November and 31 December 2016[Notes 2] for the Neverending Romance ship name list. This is seen as their 'official' pairing name, with Durant not being featured on the list as of 2025.
