Growing Pains is a 63-page gen V novel by Linda Knights.
It contains more adventures of Elizabeth, Chris Farber, Ham Tyler, Mike Donovan and the rest of the LA resistance.
From the Editorial
All our publications have been delayed this year, this one being no exception. The duplicator is now mended, overhauled and ensconsed in new lodgings, this time in Leeds.
It isn't often that we produce a single story zine, this is in fact only the second, but Growing pains was too long to be included in Enigma.
Linda Knights is an American writer, previously known in Britain for her Star Trek stories in imported zines. This time she tackles a subject unexplored by the TV series: Elizabeth is growing up, but how does she cope with her developing powers and her only too human emotions? This story is set in an alternate time-line that diverges from the aired series at the end of the episode entitled 'Betrayal' - notable not only for Ham Tyler's departure, but also for the death of my favourite lizard.
