Gladiator Series is a Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan series by Rina. It was archived at Master & Apprentice, QJEB, SWA-L, The Nesting Place and Infinitum. The series has 14 parts. In addition to that there is also an AU crossover spin on Rina's Gladiator universe by Orithain who has written When Worlds Collide, featuring Ben, Qui-Gon, Fox Mulder and Alex Krycek.

I was a fan of these stories before they were even posted, which is one major advantage to being a beta reader! Rina has hit upon a fantastically original idea here; this A/U series consists of four stories thus far, in which she introduces us to Ben Ken'ba, gladiator. Her Dark!Obi-Wan is wonderful -- intriguing, dangerous, marvelous. It's an extremely clever take on things, and I am a huge fan of the series.[1]
Alternate Universes offer opportunities to explore certain aspects of a character's personality without the restrictions of canon. This series questions what would become of Obi-Wan if he were stripped of his Jedi identity and forced to fight for his life. Obi-Wan is a darker, deadlier man. He is conflicted, jaded, and utterly compelling. [...]
Rina splits her story into three subheadings each further divided into four sections. To me it reads as a single story. Several of the sections end with cliffhangers and it is necessary to continue on. I had thought this series was unfinished until I discovered the twelfth part on the author's site.
This story is the reason I joined the M-A list. I wanted the updates as soon as they were available![2]
The Gladiator Series by Rina. Another AU, this one set in Simon R. Green's Deathstalker universe. Qui-Gon never took Obi-Wan as his Padawan, and Obi ended up on the sands of the Arena as a gladiator. A completely absorbing story, with a great blending of universes and some great angst. Plus, Rina's dark (but not Sith) Obi-Wan is not to be missed.[3]
