Gainaxing

Gainaxing or the Gainax Bounce is a form of Fan Service in which a character's breasts are animated in a way that seems to defy the laws of physics, including gravity.[1] It often results in breasts bouncing in opposite directions from each other, jiggling in ways that indicate the character can't be wearing a bra, and achieving lift that can't be managed without one.[2]

Though gainaxing is most prominent in anime and video games, including hentai, it can also be found in doujinshi and other fanworks. The Anime Music Video 58008 was created entirely out of gainaxing moments in 300 anime series.[3]

The term comes from Studio Gainax, who were notorious for using this effect in their early works, including Gunbuster.[1]
