Futaba is a main character in Persona 5 and Persona 5:Royal.
Canon
With a crippling fear of the outside and unmatched hacking skills, Futaba serves as the navigator in Persona 5. She is much more suited to providing support from a distance, unlike her Phantom Thieves cohorts, but the intelligence she provides is worth its weight in gold.

Due to contrasts of personality between her and Yusuke, the two are often paired together despite their differences. Ships with Joker are also prominent, and any of the other Phantom Thieves members can feasibly be shipped with her.
