Another summary from an eBay seller, "Kirk meets a young woman on shore leave, & when she comes on board the Enterprise as a passenger, the relationship deepens. Then tragedy strikes & Kirk develops selective amnesia. Can Spock manage a meld deep enough to bring his friend back to himself? Where do the lines of duty and friendship blur beyond recognition?"

Reactions and Reviews
This is a friendship story where a personal tragedy in Kirk's life requires Spock & McCoy to close ranks and help him through. Though competently written and beautifully illustrated and presented (there's a lot to be said for computer lay-out), this issue is a disappointment for ScoTpress readers. Used to truly quality fiction with strong action and characterisation, this hurt/comfort syndrome story just didn't seem 'up to scratch' so to speak.[1]
