Four of a Kind is a slash 162-page crossover novel by Shadowfax. While a standalone novel, it is a continuation of the novel Winner Takes All. The art is by TACS.
It was first published by AMC Press in 2001. In 2018, it was reissued in print and PDF by Requiem Publications.

In Las Vegas for a convention, Blair is eager to meet Gil Grissom, the CSI officer with whom he’s been discussing cases by email. While Sentinel and Guide are there, Nick Stokes, Gil’s co-worker and lover, is kidnapped. The ransom is something only Gil can give, and Nick’s death is the cost of refusal.

This is a continuation of the first novel, "Winner Takes All", but a complete novel within itself. This story continues the adventures of the CSI force in Las Vegas, Nevada, only now Gil and Nick are introduced to Jim Ellison and Blair Sandburg. Blair and Gil have been emailing each other about specific cases prior to their meeting for the first time and Sandburg is excited to meet the CSI group and see how their crime scene investigators perform.
