From the Editorial

Contents

Summaries are from the publisher.

  • Firesigns by Jane--An old friend asks Starsky and Hutch to check into what seems to be a classic rip-off: an elderly woman appears to be being cheated of her fortune by a gifted clairvoyant, and her children are worried. Or do they just want to get their hands on her money? And is the clairvoyant gifted, or merely a fraud? Originally appeared in Full Circle #4. (61 pages)
  • Catch of the Day by AMW--Starsky and Hutch have gone fishing. And the things that one can get up to with a hook. Originally appeared in Full Circle #4. (2 pages)
  • Me And Thee...And I'm Wondering About Thee... by Cat--It seems that Starsky has been living something of a double life, and when Hutch finds out about it, during an innocent phone call, he is not entirely delighted about it. Translated into English by Airelle. Originally appeared in Full Circle #4. (8 pages)
  • Hostage by AMW-- ("An old adversary of Hutch's is back in town ... and this time, her sights are set on Starsky." -- "The title tells all. Halfway through the evening paper, Hutch answers the phone to find Dobey calling him to a hostage situation. But the hostage is Starsky ... and the hostage-taker calling the shots? Does the name 'Diana' ring any bells? It should.") Originally appeared in Full Circle #5. (7 pages)
  • Learning Experience by AMW-- ("Time has moved on a tad, and now Starsky and Hutch are no longer on the street. In fact, Hutch is lecturing at university level ... and this session, question time with the class gets kind of personal." -- "A short, nice and very much 'in character' vidnette [sic] from a writer who knows these characters so well. Starsky and Hutch have retired from the street, and Hutch has a gaggle of students who are faaaar from unaware of the Starsky charms. Like the story says, "Sorry, ladies, he's all mine."") Originally appeared in Full Circle #5. (6 pages)
  • When in Rome by Barbara Jones--Starsky and Hutch are in London - in fact, Starsky won the trip in a competition! But on this holiday they get much more then they bargain for when they blunder into a CI5 operation, and actually play a part in helping Bodie and Doyle defeat a band of terrorists. But that's just the top of the iceberg. Crossover with The Professionals. Originally appeared in Cross My Heart #12. (25 pages)
