Finn Collins was a fictional character from The 100 television series. He was portrayed by Thomas McDonell.
everyone seems to have forgotten who finn was as a character. he was the character that was the most against violence, he was the character that fought so, so hard to keep things peaceful no matter what.[1]
Canon
Finn was arrested for an illegal spacewalk, before been sent to Earth. He was covering for his girlfriend Raven Reyes. He aligned himself with Clarke Griffin in season 1, believing that he would never see Raven again. Their short lived romance ended when Raven landed on Earth.
Finn was captured after a battle with the Grounders. Although he survived and returned to Camp Jaha, Finn became more violent and aggressive towards Grounders after this. While searching for Clarke, Finn killed 18 unarmed civilians. Commander Lexa demanded his life as recompense for the crime that the Sky People had committed. Finn handed himself over to Grounder justice, to save his friends and the people at Camp Jaha.
He was not executed by the Grounders. Instead Clarke Griffin gave him a quick death, by stabbing him in the heart.
