Fighting Chance is a Steve/Danny story by delicatale & sirona_gs.

Summary: Steve finally makes an executive decision with regards Danny's living arrangements. He couldn't have possibly imagined the parts of Danny's past it uncovers. The one where Danny used to be a boxer.

Recs and Reviews

Why we love it: A very well executed first-time fic. We loved the back story the authors created for Danny because it fit very well with what we know. We love the ways that Steve shows Danny he cares in this fic and the ways Danny responds are very in character. If you're looking for a well written long!fic that will leave you with a smile on your face this is definitely it.[1]

For a fic about boxing, I was not expecting to feel so warm and squishy inside as I read this - the fic is this perfect amalgamation of hot and sweet, sexy and beautiful. I’m also a sucker for fics where the boys are ridiculously in love with each other, so two thumbs up.[2]
