Fifth Harmony was an American girl band which placed 3rd on the American version of The X Factor in 2012. Its members were Camilla Cabello, Normani Kordei Hamilton, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane Hansen, and Ally Hernandez. Cabello officially left the band in 2016.
Fandom Presence
Camren, a femslash pairing of Cabello and Jauregui, was the fandom juggernaut pairing from 2012 - 2016. Both Cabello and Jauregui have spoken against the behavior of their shippers, with Jauregui saying that the voracity of Camren shipping complicated her own coming out as bisexual.
Fans of Fifth Harmony are often antagonistic and competitive with fans of Little Mix. When Cabello left the group, her fans and fans of the remaining Fifth Harmony members became extremely belligerent towards each other and their respective idols.
