Canon Content
I still of course see ARPGs as their own fandoms (I know some may disagree, but based on discussions I've had in the past there are also others like me who consider them fandoms/microfandoms), but after being on Fanlore longer I am afraid some of the content I listed on the current ARPG pages may be too focused on the ARPGs' canon... and it is going to hurt (cause I typed a lot), but I think I may need to start cleaning up the old pages I made to clear out some of the less transformative aspects of the pages, like the mechanics sections. I also want to note I want to focus more on the ARPGs that are based off of other fandoms, like Animal Crossing or Pokemon, since the project currently lacks those. The only page I would consider having a discussion on deleting right now is the Grems. When I made it I thought they had an ARPG, but turns out they don't, they're just an insanely popular original species. Though, some original species create transformative communities around them (especially in regards to the Furry fandom, lots of overlap there with OS), and if Grems has a big enough transformative aspect it would be good as just a plain original species page. I think I saw a Grem fursuit once, actually. Anyways, those are my thoughts on my somewhat neglected project. Gotta take a deep breath... and just cut out the overload of canon info.
