Captain My Captain, sometimes abbreviated CMC, is a popular Lord of the Rings fanfic by Isabeau of Greenlea. Set during Return of the King, it is an epic novel-length story narrated in first-person by Hethlin the Ranger, an OC of Isabeau who became very popular with fans of the fic. The first half centres on her interactions with Faramir during the Ring War, while in the second half shifts to Imrahil and Elrohir during the early Fourth Age, with big parts being played by relatively minor characters from the books.
