Elydore was a fan-run, media con held in England.

The first one had a focus of Blake's 7 and Battlestar Galactica (1978). The next two were much more varied in their media focus.

There were three of them.

1988

Elydore 1988 was the first one, and was held over the Good Friday weekend. The focus was Blake's 7 and Battlestar Galactica (1978).

1989

Elydore 1989 was held in Shepperton, England on March 25-26, it was one of two UK national SF conventions that year, the other being Eastercon.

The locale: Shepperton Moat House Hotel, Shepperton, Middlesex.

One activity there was the Blake-a-Thon and Script Reading Marathon. Another activity was group viewing of at least one Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea episode.

Another activity was a comic strip competition, judged by convention guests Neil Gaiman, Glenn Fabry and Bryan Talbot.

1990

Elydore 1990 was held over the Easter weekend in April, also in Shepperton. It was the third one.

Guest were Neil Gaiman, Anne McCaffrey, Terry Pratchett, Sheelagh Wells, and Mat Irvine.

There was a showing of Japanese Animation in one of its Video rooms, run by Jay Felton. One fan describes this con and Eastercon: "This will be ground Zero for the UK Anime Fandom as I would know it." [1]
