Eastercon is a long-running British rotating science fiction convention held annually over Easter weekend. See Wikipedia's entry.

There are several mentions of the con in Star Trek and other media fanzines--see HOW TO INFILTRATE A SCIENCE FICTION CON, printed in STAG #23.

Concentric, the 2020 Eastercon, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The 2021 Eastercon, ConFusion, was run as a virtual event for the same reason. The organizers of the later convention used platforms which had not previously been used for SF conventions, such as Gather.Town, and attracted widespread criticism for various technical and organizational failures.
