In science fiction fandom, a rotating convention is one which is held at a different location and managed by a different convention committee for each iteration. Examples include the Worldcon, the Eastercon (British national convention), the Swecon, the Eurocon, DeepSouthCon, Westercon, as well as the Ditto and Corflu fanzine conventions. The location of the next event will be voted upon at a prior iteration, either one, two or even three years in advance.
