Double Pines was a Big Name Fan in the Pinecest fandom, active between 2012 to 2016. She was best known for her fancomics, and produced quite a bit of fanfic and fanart.
She was seminal to the Pinecest fandom, with some later shippers describe their fanworks as more fanworks of Double Pines' work than of Gravity Falls.[1]
She deleted her works once, then later came back under the name in-your-face-elizabeth and produced more works, before eventually deleting those too and vanishing. Rumors vary: some say it was because her art was so frequently stolen, or because she faced constant haranguing by anti-shippers, or because she had become too much of a Big Name Fan and didn't like the pressure, or because she simply lost interest.
