Dethkomic is author of the fancomic of the same name, who is also a content creator within the Metalocalypse fandom.
In 2008, she came into the Metalocalypse fandom under the pseudonym xixthe and penned a novel-length fanfiction series known as "The Xixapocalypse". In 2021, with the announcement of the forthcoming Metalocalypse movie, she returned to the fandom, adapting the first chapter of her series into a comic format. Renaming the work "Dethkomic", she reverse-eponymously used the title as a pseudonym.
During her tenure in the fandom, Dethkomic has been active as a fan artist and was notably one of the fans selected by director Jon Schnepp to collect and contribute fanart for the Metalocalypse episode "Fanklok".[1]
Dethkomic the Comic

The Dethkomic fancomic was started in July of 2021 on its own dedicated tumblr blog. The storyline is notable for being primarily gen within a fandom that is typically focused on works revolving around shipping. Nonetheless, it has been well-received within the fandom since its premiere.
Dethkomic features "guest appearances" from other original characters within the Metalocalypse fandom and has inspired several crossovers and adaptations within its own canon. The comic is canon-compliant, but works within this universe tend to be tagged as Dethkomic-universe or Dethkomic-AU. Somewhat confusingly, works labeled as taking place within the Dethkomic universe are often fanfiction, drabbles, or fanart, and not necessarily comics themselves.
