Dean Cain is an American actor. He is mostly known for his role as Clark Kent/Superman from the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
He later plays in an episode of Smallville (which is also about Superman) as an immortal, Dr. Curtis Knox. His L&C co-star, Teri Hatcher also later made a guest appearance on SV.
He plays Supergirl's foster father, Jeremiah Danvers, in Supergirl (TV series), with Helen Slater (Supergirl in the 1984 film) as her foster mother.
