Dead-boy and Xander (short DBX) is an Angel/Xander slash archive and the archive of the Whiteknight Mailing List.
The site was originally hosted by FortuneCity but moved to its own domain in 1999.[1]
The stories in the archive were sorted by author. In addition to the stories, the archive also featured a monthly challenge, transcripts of individual Angel/Xander scenes with explanations from the archivist "for how they show the passion burning between Angel and Xander", an image gallery, and a links section.
The site was listed in the link section of Saber ShadowKitten's Buffy FanFiction page.[2]
Sites that don't suck
From the links section:
- Unconventional Relationshippers - This is the home of the UCSL mailing list, which started this whole obsession in the first place.
- Faith Rocks: Home of the Faithful - This is a fantastic site devoted to Faith. It has quotes, sound files, pictures, fanfic, and a mailing list. A must-see for any Faith devotee.
- Sounds of the Slayer - This is absolutely the best place to find sound clips from the show. All of the sound files on this site were obtained there.
- Slay Me Xand's World of the Slayer - SlayMeXand's site is awesome. She has a ton of pictures as well as a wealth of other cool stuff. The screen caps section is particularly cool.
- The UC Manipulated Pictures Archive - This is the lovely UC Manipulated Pictures Archive, which contains, startlingly enough, manipulated pictures of unconventional couples. A lovely site run by the lovely Craww.
- Shoot Me, Stuff Me, Mount Me - Craww's Giles/Xander site is LOVELY. And I'm not just saying that because one of my stories is archived there. But if you want to read it, go there. And go there even if you don't want to read it. Cause it's an awesome site.
- She's a Wonderland Toy - Okay, I don't even LIKE Oz. But I think this site is mighty cool. Cause Oz/Cordelia's a nifty 'ship. And cause Craww is a goddess. Have I mentioned that?
- The Angel's Hair Site - This site is too cool for words. You MUST go there. Angel's hair is a deity unto itself and this site shows why. And join WOAH while you're there. *I'M* a member! Don't you want to be like me?
- The Groovy Slayer Fanfic Archive - Go visit Craww's lovely site, because any site that has a section titled "Xander's Sexuality: Questionable?" is cool by me.
- The Fanfic Frenzy - Home of the lovely fanfic of the ever wonderful Kate Bolin.
- My Niccy bear's completely amazing fanfic - This is a site devoted to my Niccy bear's completely amazing fanfic. She's a goddess. Go read her fic.
- The Order of Hannigan - A WONDERFUL site devoted to the lovely Alyson Hannigan, who plays Willow. Go there... now. And join. I did!
- Fallen Angels: A Fanfiction Page - Meredian writes some of the best fanfiction I've read. Visit her site to read some of it (or go read some in the Chronicles and THEN go to her site to read more!).
- Raven's Realm of Buffy the Vampire Slayer - I don't so much like general Buffy sites, but this is an exception. This is an absolutely gorgeous site that I visit frequently.
- The Xander Slash Archive - This is an archive for slash involving Xander (yes, I know I'm stunningly brilliant). Since you're here, I'm assuming you like that.
- Obsession for Dorks - This is Niccy bear's beautiful C/X site for NC-17 fic. Go there. It's wonderful.
- The Official Fan Club of Niccy - This is the site I started for the fan club of my lovely Niccy bear. Go there! Go *now*! And join!
