Dai Bendu is a fanmade conlang, spoken by the Jedi in the Star Wars universe. The language was initially created by three fans: aroacejoot, ghostwriterofthemachine, and loosingletters in August of 2020.
The Language
The name Dai Bendu comes from a canonical group, the Dai Bendu, who were a precursor to the Jedi Order[1].
Dai Bendu incorporates key aspects of Jedi culture, including:
- having specific words for Master, Padawan, Grandmaster, etc
- distinguishing between Jedi, non-Jedi, and non-sentient objects
- passively using the Force as part of the language
