Daenerys Targaryen/Viserys Targaryen, also known as Visaenerys, is the het and incestuous pairing of Viserys Targaryen and Daenerys Targaryen in the A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones fandoms. They do not have a canonical relationship, though Viserys' attraction is canon.
Canon
Viserys is Daenerys' older brother. Before the series, shortly after Robert Baratheon's rebellion, they left Westeros to live in exile in Essos. Viserys raises her as they are on the run and he teaches her about their family and House. They travelled between the Free Cities in order to try to find military support to gain the Iron Throne back, although they mainly had to beg for food and shelter.
In the books, Daenerys says that she had always assumed that she would wed Viserys since the Targaryens had been marrying siblings for decades and they are the two presumed last Targaryens. Their relationship started well, Viserys being very sweet to Daenerys as kids, but went downhill as Viserys began a descent into madness as a consequence of disillusions and a harsh life running away from assassins.
At the beginning of the series, Viserys and Daenerys are in Pentos and are guests to Magister Illyrio Mopatis. Viserys has arranged to wed Daenerys, whom he also calls "Dany", to Khal Drogo, in exchange of an army. Viserys is bitter about this marriage, as he thinks that his sister is rightfully his. Viserys is killed months after the marriage by Khal Drogo.

- Canon Divergence AU: Varies. Viserys doesn't die, Viserys never marries Daenerys to Khal Drogo or Robert's rebellion never happens and they live in King's Landing, growing up together. Some authors also explore the character of Viserys and give him more depth, making him greyer than he was depicted in the series, given his hard past.
- Modern AU: Modern setting, adds the whole thematic of the taboo of incest in our modern society as well as a more rebellious Daenerys.
- Pastfic: Exploring their childhoods and how Viserys would take care of Daenerys despite the struggles faced by both of them.

Ship War
The ship is controversial, according to the abusive and incestuous nature of their relationship. Some fans had faced some backlash for shipping it, mainly from Jon/Daenerys shippers or other Daenerys fans. However, given how the Viserys/Daenerys pairing is rare, it has never been a ship war.
