Castiel/Crowley is the pairing of the angel Castiel and the demon Crowley from the TV show Supernatural.

Canon

Crowley flirts with most of the other characters from Supernatural, including Castiel. In season 6, he tells the angel that he has "what they call sex appeal", to which Castiel thanks him. In season 9, Castiel warns him not to betray them, or else he will carve out his heart, to which Crowley replies "oh Cas, such a flirt".

Fandom

Common Tropes in Fanworks

  • All Human AU: Crowley is not a Demon, or Castiel is not an Angel, or both, usually in a modern non-Supernatural or mundane setting
  • Enemies to Lovers: they are canonical enemies that later become reluctant allies, some writers take this to the next step developing a romantic relationship
  • Crowley Lives: Crowley does not die in season 12
  • Side Pairing: sometimes a featured secondary pairing in stories focused on other characters, usually when Dean is in another relationship, or sometimes characterized as a past relationship before the Dean/Castiel pairing happens
