Cronus is a God of the Harvest and Titan of Time from the Greek Mythology. He's known for overthrowing his father, and fearing the same thing would happen with his own children; he ate his children until Zeus was saved by Rhea and imprisoned him in Tartarus.

Cronus doesn't appear quite often in fanfiction within the Greek Mythology and Roman Mythology fandom. He often appears as a background character, sometimes paired with his wife. Also many fans like to fancast/parallel their characters as Cronus on Tumblr.
