Welcome to comicdrabbles! Every Friday, we'll be posting a new challenge, and you're welcome to write as many drabbles/ficlets as it inspires. If it's under 500 words, it counts!All comic-based fandoms are welcome! Comics from DC, Marvel, Image, Vertigo, Dark Horse, anywhere, we want to see it all! That also includes spin-offs from comics, such as movies (The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man), television shows (Smallville, Young Justice, Ultimate Spider-Man) and video games (Arkham Asylum/City). As long as the characters got their start in comics, you're golden!
There's only exception - if the comic you want to base your drabble/ficlet on is a spin-off from a fandom that originated somewhere other than comics (such as Star Wars, Disney or Sonic), then your drabble/ficlet must be based on the comic canon, not the original movie/television/game canon. So if you want to write something based during the Buffy Season Eight comics, that's fine, but you can't write something based during the Buffy television show. We're trying to keep the focus narrowed to comics and the characters that have sprung from them!
