A clubzine is a zine published by a fanclub for its members, though some clubzines are distributed more widely. For example, Der Donaldist, the clubzine of D.O.N.A.L.D., is sold in some German comic stores and is available as a subscription or via mailorder of back issues for anyone, though it is reduced in price for members.
The content of clubzines is as varied as fanclubs themselves, and depends on the focus of the fanclub, but often they contain reports about past activities and news of upcoming events alongside other, more general content, so that they function as a newsletter for the club.
