Pairing: Ten/Rose

Rating: M Beta: xebgoc Disclaimer: RTD and BBC own them, I only borrow them to play a little. I'll be good and not break them. Summary: The TARDIS is dying. Reactions and Reviews

Set during Series 2 where the TARDIS becomes incredibly damaged…or sick would be a better term I suppose. So, Ten and Rose have to crash land on a planet and…settle down. In a proper house. With doors and things. Carpets. Ten living in a house. This fic is incredible as well. Obviously, or else it wouldn’t be in this list, would it? Another detail-filled fic, with an entire culture and even Gallifreyan language too! Rose is so strong, here. She helps Ten cope with the possible death of the only piece of home he has left. And the happy ending is one that leaves you eager for more and a bunch of fuzzies on the side. There is a sequel, BTW.[1]

Amazing, brilliant, show-stopping, completely never-been-done before and any other adjectives that come to mind. First multichaptered fic I’ve ever read in Doctor/Rose pairing and what a pleasure it was to re-read it again after a year had passed.[2]

I love the storyline where the Doctor and Rose are forced to live like the natives. This is a very sweet, very angsty, and very romantic story. It feels slightly fairy-tale and the author's use of description is lovely.[3]

For the Series

I love the cloisters verse so much. She creates an absolutely believable world and draws you right into it. I’ve read the ‘verse twice over but I’ve read Resistance I don’t know how many times. (Spoilers) I feel like I am there with Rose in Italy. The climax of the story - blew me away and has made me sob every time. Just love these stories. Wildwinterwitch you are wonderful. Thanks for the beautiful fics[4]

More prerequisite reading. Not optional sorry. Tough bananas. :P[5]

This a multi installment verse, and I would highly recommend it, even though it might break you. The specific story that crushed me within this verse was Resistance, but I would recommend starting at the beginning with Cloisters if you want it to make sense. *warning: minor character death, war[6]
