Category talk:Star Trek VOY

I'm planning on updating all of the disambigs for this category so that they're consistent, and I wanted to check which disambig is most favored. IMO, the strongest options are (Star Trek: Voyager) vs (Star Trek: VOY). For the Stark Trek: Voyager stories, it looks like the Voyager categories have been uniformly "Stark Trek VOY [fanfiction/websites/zines]". In light of that, and the fact that the consistent disambig for all the other Star Trek versions is "Star Trek: [three capital letters]", even though VOY isn't actually an acronym I'm thinking (Star Trek: VOY) is an option to stay consistent with the other Star Trek categories. However, because "VOY" isn't an acronym, I also think it would be appropriate to forgo it in favor of the full title and have the disambig be (Star Trek: Voyager). What do others think? Are asking if we should change the category name? Because I don't think that is such a great idea considering the amount of articles we have saved under Stark Trek VOY and its sub-categories, plus like you said it is consistent with how we have labeled the other Star Trek categories -- Kingstoken (talk) 01:09, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

Sorry for the lack of clarity, what I meant was that if you look at the articles in this category and its subcategories, there are a number of articles with disambiguations in the title but those disambiguations aren't consistent. Some have a colon, some don't; some use VOY, some use Voyager. The articles in other Star Trek categories all use a colon in their disambiguations, so I think it should have that, but my question was about whether we should match the format of the other Star Trek categories which use three capital letters to distinguish their series (e.g. TNG, TOS, DS9) or whether we should use the full "Voyager" in the disambig since it's still short and VOY isn't actually an acronym/useful like it is for the other series. I hope we can decide on one disambiguation format for Voyager, and then I can move the articles that aren't using that disambig to a page with the updated title so the disambiguation format in this category would be consistent.
