Adrien Agreste is the secondary protagonist of Miraculous Ladybug. His superhero identity is Chat Noir.
Canon
Adrien Agreste is a student at Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris. He also works as a model for Gabriel, his father's fashion brand. He wields the Cat Miraculous (also called Black Cat Miraculous) and--with the aid of Plagg, the kwami of destruction--he transforms into the cat-themed superhero, Chat Noir.
Chat Noir
As Chat Noir, Adrien wields the power of destruction. He activates this power by saying the word Cataclysm which then allows Chat Noir to destroy whatever he touches with his hand. After using this power he has five minutes left before the Miraculous runs out of energy and as a result he de-transforms. As Chat Noir, Adrien also wields a staff which can be used as a weapon and a communicator.
