Camie Marstrap is a minor character who appears in deleted footage from Star Wars: A New Hope and in the earlier novelization, as well as the Marvel comic and radio drama adaptations. She is played by actress Koo Stark, who is rumored to have signed up as a potential back-up for Leia Organa if Carrie Fisher had rejected the role.[1]
A childhood friends of Luke Skywalker, Camie is canonically indifferent to him, but plays a larger role in fanworks focusing on Luke's early life. Although Camie is in a relationship with mechanic Laze "Fixer" Leonozer, Luke has a crush on her, though she openly teases him with the nickname "Wormie".
In the novelization of The Last Jedi, Luke dreams he stayed on Tatooine and married Camie in the opening chapter. Fans have speculated she may also be the woman Rey encounters at the Lars homestead at the end of The Rise of Skywalker.[2]
