Boruto is the sequel to Naruto, following the adventures of Uzumaki Boruto, the son of Uzumaki Naruto and Hyuuga Hinata. It began monthly serialization in 2016 in Weekly Shonen Jump, and an anime adaptation began in 2017.

The first 13 volumes were written and drawn by Ukyo Kodachi. Starting with volume 14, the series was taken over by original creator Masashi Kishimoto.
