Born Bela Blasko, Bela Lugosi (1882-1956) was a Hungarian-born actor forever associated with his performance in the title role of 1931's Dracula, based on the Bram Stoker novel. He is considered one of the biggest icons in the history of Horror. His last years were depicted in Tim Burton's 1994 film Ed Wood.
