Reactions and Reviews
1990
This story started out as a refreshing read, since there aren't many that tie into the episode with Kolos. Kirk's confusion about who was talking was well depicted. (For that matter, McCoy's disbelief when Kirk told him of his feelings was also well-handled, with McCoy trying not to overact but internally trying to recover from the shock.) I was disappointed, however, that the bulk of the story was the common scenario of Kirk and Spock misunderstanding.[1]
