Reactions to the Play

From an actor:

I had somehow almost forgotten about the play until 6:30,. The sudden fear woke me right up. I changed into costume (ta-da) and joined the others backstage. This is when I discovered my wonderful sign identifying me, as Ascreama had been left in Debi Barbich's basement. I had to hurry and make another one. I don't know why this always happens at StarCon Denver plays, last year I had to remake a balloon Death Star at the last minute, and almost choked to death on the glitter....

The play was berserk. We were all absolutely wired for sound. To my astonishment, no one forgot their lines or cues or props or anything. Hardly. The audience even joined in clapping in rhythm to the ‘King Tut' finale. (Don't ask) I wonder if we can get the same audience for next year? [1]

From an audience member:

A spoof... a space opera. Yes, folks, they sand, they danced and the were headed for Mirth and when Starstud and Appealing came out in their Triad outfits (bvds with suspenders), they brought the house down. This is their second play at Star Con Denver (they did it to Star Wars last year) and they're threatening to do it to Star Trek: The Motion Picture next year...[2]
