I liked "Bailout" by Jane Mailander. I smiled through, the whole thing, but I do recognize that sexual attraction can overcome common sense and common decency. Ms. Mailander handled it well without going overboard, proving, sometimes you have to love them so much you gotta let go. Tough love does help.

Very good. Even when this short, humorous story wasn't making me laugh out loud it was making me smile at some of the wittiest, most natural dialogue I've seen. As for the story... would Kirk and Spock really succumb to their desires in a public place, especially when doing so had already landed them in jail once? I doubt it, but with writing this good, who cares?
