Reactions and Reviews
1990
Though this story wasn't particularly original, I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was tightly written, had excellent characterisations and dialogue, an intelligent plot, and the method of 'getting then into bed' was believable. I also enjoyed the wars, caring atmosphere— subtle, yet effective. I really liked Spock's quiet 'confession'. I also liked the way the author skipped to bed being in bed together, rather than having them endlessly discuss the inevitable after returning to the ship. A very thorough, well-balanced little story. [1]
