Ankar Press was a zine publisher run by Karen Bates-Crouch and Ann Crouch. It was based out of Missouri Valley, Iowa, USA.[1]
Ann Crouch wrote for The Annual Fan Q Awards Nominations Booklet in 1982: "My first fan activities centered around publishing. and with co-publisher Karen Bates, Ankar Press has produced two volumes of MAIDEN VOYAGES, STARWEAVER, and FERMATA."
