Angel is a Chakotay/Paris slash story by Morticia.
Summary: A VERY long tale of angst, adversity, betrayal and passionate love (completed Jan 2001). Chakotay had left a male lover back in the Maquis and can‘t get over the loss. Tom is completely besotted with Chakotay and is sure that the Commander is attracted to him too but can‘t get anywhere with him.

I read this during my initial phase of being transformed into a C/Per, late 2000/early 2001. Chakotay's yelled "YOU’RE A SCHEMING MANIPULATIVE BITCH!" to Janeway in Chapter 27, after all her self-centered manipulations, sold me on Bitch!Janeway. Until then, I had no idea how much canon Janeway was really pissing me off.[1]
