Alanna, also known as Wisteria, is a fan writer who wrote mostly het, but also some slash fanfic. She has been active in multiple fandoms since the 1990s. Alanna also created vids, wrote meta and shared screencaps.
Her first fandom was The X-Files where she wrote fanfic under a few different names including Alanna B., or Alanna Baker. At this time, she was active on alt.tv.x-files.creative.
In 2001, wisteria was posting her BtVS fanworks on fanfiction.net, but the author removed several stories in 2002, "before fanfiction.net has a chance to ban me permanently."[1] All the stories removed and subsequent stories written by Wisteria were hosted at the author's personal site, www.alanna.net.
