Éowyn/Faramir is a canonical pairing in the Lord of the Rings fandom.

Canon

Éowyn after being wounded in battle she is taken to medical care where she meets Faramir, the two fall in love and later marry. Éowyn who loved the strength of battle and yearned for fights now has a more peaceful life, due to the consequences of his subsequent injury. Éowyn was in love with Aragorn, but he dismissed her love, seeing her as a friend. Faramir is also friends with Aragorn, who later became their King.

Fandom

The reception of this ship by the fandom was not the best. Some fans criticize as Pair the Spares, and others argue meaningful characters development and growth. Regardless of the dissenting opinion among fans Éowyn/Faramir was canonized in the books and charting a growing number of works with the release of the films.
