Zoë/Hoban Washburne is the canon pairing Zoë Alleyne Washburne and Hoban "Wash" Washburne from the Firefly and Serenity fandoms.
Canon
Hoban "Wash" Washburne and Zoe Alleyne Washburne are quite possibly the Jossverse’s least dysfunctional couple. While they had their problems, they always understood each other. Whether settling arguments on Serenity through jokes or with fists, they were always fun to watch. And they were vital parts of the crew. [...] Together they were a good pairing. And they will more than likely continue to thrive in fan fiction.

- How they got together - In a flashback, Zoë appears less than enamoured with Serenity's new pilot. Many works look at their early courtship and the development of their relationship.
Following the tragic death in the Serenity film, more fanworks pairing these two began to appear.[1]
- Everybody Lives - Following Serenity, many AUs saved Wash from his canon death.
- Angst - Many works examined Zoë's grief following her husbands death, and her struggles following his death. Some works show Zoe discovering she is pregnant following Wash's death. In canon, they had previously discussed the possibility of having children, and pregnancy fics were common before the release of Serenity.
