Zepotha is an overnight fandom centred around a non-existent indie horror film from the 80's. The film originates from a video on TikTok by Emily Jeffri encouraging users to comment on thirst traps that the people in the vids resemble characters from the fictional film.
Zepotha has been compared with the similiar fake film Goncharov, with many Tumblr users criticising the way Tiktok has gone about it.
