Zac and Frankie BFF is a Hanson fanfic written by Kim and Jess.
The story pokes fun at the close friendship Zac Hanson shared with Frankie Muniz, particularly during the time that Frankie toured with Hanson as a roadie. The story could be seen as pre-slash or perhaps mocking of slashers themselves.

At some point, Zac was given a copy of or link to the story to read(citation needed). The website for the story provides a supposed quote from him, staying "I read the first couple of chapters and I was a little weirded out."
During the band's 2005 tour, a tour reporter asked them about fanfic, specifically mentioning this story, and recorded the following:
Zac mentioned being given a story about him and Frankie, which he thought was sick. I asked them if they minded me putting the answer to that question in the report and Taylor said that I should put it in.[1]
