You Don't Need Him: A Homestuck Femslash Zine was a femslash zine in the Homestuck fandom.
Development
The zine was announced on March 11th, 2019. Applications opened on March 30th and closed on April 13th;[1] over 250 applications were received in total.[2]
In early September 2019, it was announced that final submissions were in receipt and that a release date would soon be forthcoming.[3] As such, many fans were surprised to see participants posting their pieces for the zine in November 2019. Participants explained that the moderators had given them permission to do so.
On August 21, 2020, it was announced that the project would not be moving forward.[4] The contents of the Homestuck Epilogues were greatly demoralizing to many Homestuck fans, these included.
