X-Men: First Class is a comic book series published by Marvel Comics starring the original X-Men: Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Iceman and Professor X.
The 2011 film X-Men: First Class acts as a prequel to the X-Men film trilogy. Though it shares the same title as the comic series, the plots share almost no resemblance.
It takes place within Earth-616, however before Jean Grey was given access to her telepathy.
In All-New X-Men (1st series) #8, the original five mutants are sent to the future to meet their older selves and end up getting stuck there.
